It includes two tasks: Summarise written text(25-50 words) and write an email (at least 100 words) about a given situation. The difference between PTE Academic writing and PTE Core writing lies in the word limit and sentence limits in the summary and Email writing tasks instead of essay writing.

The difference between PTE Academic and PTE Core listening lies in the following areas: Summarize spoken text-You have to write the summary with Minimum Word limit of 20, and Maximum 30. Time allotted is 8 minutes.
